How To Clean A Scuffed Cd Jewl Case

The other day, I discovered a few scuff marks on my Daiki Kan'u Unchou figure and needless to say, I was pretty bummed. I'm non sure if I bought it that way or if it had somehow materialized while displayed on my desk. I periodically grit my figures only I had never attempted to remove a scuff mark until now.

Initially I tried using manus lather and water to wash off the scuff, but to no avail. I then tried this method, and after successfully removing the starting time scuff, I documented the residual in example it would be help to fellow figure owners.

Supplies used:

1 q-tip
Non-BLEACHING, NON-GRITTED industrial cleaner, which can be bought at whatsoever drugstore for $iv. In this case, I am using Zep 505.

NOTE: I take only tried this on surfaces without whatsoever painted designs, where the entire plastic is the same colour. Yous may desire to use a unlike method if the scuff marker is on a painted surface to ensure you don't scrub off whatsoever paint.

The other figure in rough condition was my HJ Asmodeus. These scuff marks are over a year old, and so it goes to show you that it'south not too late to restore your precious figures.

I have a q tip and scrub firmly but gently on the offending marking. I don't use besides much cleaner so that the q-tip has some traction. Scrub continuously for 1-2 minutes.

A few minutes later...

Gorgeous! The scuff marks are completely gone. I then wipe off the remainder with a paper towel.
